The Twinsburg Wargaming Association (TWA) is a local club dedicated to the hobby of Miniature Wargaming. We are based in Twinsburg Ohio, just south-east of Cleveland.
We play wargames from all genres and times periods, including historical, fantasy, and futuristic. Some of us have also been known to dabble in Collectable Card Games.
At the core of our activities are bi-weekly games on Friday evenings. We also run occasional larger games on weekends, host several Game Day's at local gaming stores and run several all day GameFests each year. Many members make road trips as a group each year to the major regional conventions hosted by HMGS-East.
If you're interested, don't worry about experience or playing equipment. The club members own a wide variety of figures and gaming equipment and have learned to share quite nicely. For the vast majority of our activities, you don't need any of your own stuff, and we routinely introduce new players to the hobby. You can just show up and learn to play or come to feed an old gaming habit.
